K-5th grade; 40 students Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Strong knowledge of various speech, language, and communication disorders across different age groups.
Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, taking into consideration patients' needs and goals.
Provide therapy and interventions to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, educators, and parents, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Educate and train patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication abilities.
