THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Sales Analyst position will provide financial leadership to the Internal Customer Teams and Customers.This position will assess customer strategies and financial plans to influence and provide insights to our customer teams on short-term business plans and long-term strategies aimed at delivering joint value creation with the customer
Develop and maintain standard reoccurring corporate sales reporting with actionable insights based on trends.
Provide standard reporting for customers as requested by the customer.
Ad hoc reporting
Data Entry into any account specific score-carding/item set up systems, line review forms, etc.
Establish processes & tools to help our customer teams drive growth, meet financial commitments & improve profitability.
Assist in customer meeting preparation and participate in customer meetings.
Coordination of key external processes such as Joint Business Planning with the customer and key internal processes such as Executive Business Reviews. Track Joint Business Planning Goals and report progress.
Establish sound financial controls
Form effective business relationships with finance counterparts at our customers in order to explore areas of joint value creation and risk mitigation.
Provide forecast for all new items
Provide store level & warehouse customer sales forecasts with a corporate roll up & report this to the demand planning team.
Collaborate with Customer Replenishment Team
Manage the flow of inventory to customer by collaboratively planning the sales and replenishment needs - use internal and external tools to create and audit sales forecasts and maintain proper inventory levels.
Communicate to leadership and customer root cause analysis and corrective action on timeline and execution of order processing to ensure in stock improvements and forecasting accuracy
Identify areas for optimization. Initiate cost and time saving processes to insure maximum efficiencies.
Participate in weekly planning and replenishment calls with internal and external customers.
Track orders, shipment status, achieve ship dates/MABD and EDI delivery. Act as a liaison between sales, product management, distribution and customer.
Manage on-hand inventory while making recommendations on additional orders to maintain established inventory goals.
Research and investigate store and warehouse out of stocks and implement corrective action
Recommend appropriate stores and store count for line review.
Lead and participate in specific customer projects

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Bachelor's degree in finance, statics or analytical field. MBA Preferred
Data Analytics, Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
Must have Retail knowledge and experience
Strong knowledge and experience in Finance/Accounting

years of Supply Chain/Replenishment experience
Strong Interpersonal Skills, negotiation skills a plus
Team approach to decision making
Detail oriented and excellent follow up
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills, with the result of solved problems
Planning and organizational skills.
Sense of urgency and the ability to manage time to achieve deadlines
prefer local candidatesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
