The General Mechanic V job is located at our Durafiber Technologies Plant in Winnsboro, SC.
GENERAL MECHANIC V
As a member of a Durafiber Technoloies, the General Mechanic V will be involved in all aspects of improving plant equipment and systems productivity including but not limited to:
Provide support to the continuous implementation and reinforcement of the practices outlined in the Quality, Safety, and Environmental systems.
Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs plant production equipment and machine components.
Monitors plant mechanical equipment and systems to detect mechanical failures or signs of pending failures.
Installs, maintains and repairs plant mechanical equipment and systems.
Maintains equipment records, PM and intervention/ troubleshooting files for trend analysis and equipment monitoring.
Proficient in welding with mig tig and stick.
Proficient in tool and dye.
Ability to read blue prints and machine components accordingly.
Work in a safe and orderly manner maintaining good housekeeping in working and storage areas.
Work with other personnel, as required, during breakdowns, overhauls and other planned maintenance programs, doing maintenance type tasks and other duties as assigned.
Perform any other assignments by supervisor.
Assume personal responsibility for 100% compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards
Attend all mandatory training.
Qualifications:
3 years of welding, tool and dye processes
Must have detailed knowledge and understanding of the mechanical process, machine functions and various job tasks associated with machinery maintenance.
Must be able to properly document work completed in area.
Must be able to work in a safe and orderly manner and maintain good housekeeping in the working and staging areas.
Must be able to work rotating shifts.
